InfoHub: Health Information Exchange
A field-proven interface gateway, InfoHub has been implemented in over 200 demanding hospital and laboratory settings since 1999. InfoHub helps healthcare organizations leverage their current IT investments and provides a single point of data aggregation outside of existing clinical systems. It functions as middleware, connecting these legacy systems with outside entities such as RHIOs and HIEs and serves as a FOB (forward operating base) from where data can be securely staged for response to external queries without the need to directly access back-end systems. From this FOB data is ready to be pushed to physicians and served in real-time to outside entities. InfoHub collects data across multiple departments and systems for delivery to printers, web-portals, enterprise EHRs and ambulatory EMRs.

InfoHub can integrate to any hospital information system, including enterprise HIS, LIS, eRx, EMPI, ADT, PACS, radiology, anatomic pathology, billing, acute EMR and EHR systems. InfoHub serves as a datastage where enterprise data is not only processed, but is stored in an Intersystems database as well. From InfoHub data is transformed and processed into information and can be served to end-users in a plurality of ways: Physician portal, ambulatory EMR or EHR, teleprinter, fax and autoprint. InfoHub can also provide healthcare institutions with connectivity to RHIO (regional health information organizations), HIE (health information exchange), and HEDIS reporting.
